Cinema at Home

Lately I have watched so many movies! I think it's because of the cold winter weather outside! Well I thought it would be fun to share some of the movies I've watched recently.

1. Wanderlust

This was such a funny movie. It has Paul Rudd (who I love) and Jennifer Aniston. They are a married couple from New York who lost their jobs and expensive apartment. This resulted in them having to go to Paul Rudd's brother's house. They got in a fight, so they left, and ended up on a hippie commune. I won't say much more, but it was a really fun movie!

2. Take This Waltz

This movie had Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, and Luke Kirby as the main characters. Rogen and Williams are a married couple. Seth Rogen is a recipe book writer, and his book is only on chicken dishes, so they ate a LOT of chicken. After being married for five years, Michelle Williams met Luke Kirby. Kirby turns out to be her cute neighbor down the street who is a pedicab driver. She has this emotional affair with him the entire movie, and there comes a point where she has to decide whether to let it go or pursue it. I really enjoyed this one. WARNING: you will get "Video Killed the Radio Star" stuck in your head for the next  three days after this movie.

3. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

I expected this movie to be a bit more silly than it was, and I didn't think I was going to end up finishing it. It definitely surprised me. I really liked the whole thing, the fact that they made the Confederates all vampires was hilarious.

4. Liberal Arts

Source
This one I just ordered from the library because it had Josh Radnor in it. I've recently become a How I Met Your Mother Fan (I know I'm way late to the party). It was also really good. It was about a college admissions adviser (Radnor) who visits his alma mater for one of his professor's retirement party. He ends up meeting and hanging out with one of the current students, 19 year old Ziggy (Elizabeth Olsen). They begin to have a relationship built on their mutal love of opera and books. When it starts to turn romantic, the 16 year age difference becomes more and more apparent, and they both end up learning some life lessons.

Have you watched any good movies lately?
