Jillian Michaels: No More Trouble Zones
As part of my attempt to make myself have more of a fitness routine, I've started to add in fitness videos. I really like to run and do the elliptical now, but I felt like it was a bit imbalanced since I was really focused on my legs, and not so much my arms, or non-existent abs. I have watched Biggest loser in the past and Jillian Michaels always looks so fit and she's so mean to them, but in a good way to push them to do their best, so I figured she would be a good candidate for a workout dvd. This workout dvd promises to "Eliminate love handles, muffin tops, and wobbly arms for good!" Really until now, I have never worked out on a regular basis, my workout routine was just walking 2 miles maybe 2 or 3 times a week. I have never worked on specifically my arms, I loathe crunches and push-ups, and so I avoided them like the plague. I've also never really worked with weights with the exception of when we had weight training class in high school.This dvd does not allow you to do that! The first time I did it I didn't think I was going to be able to finish it, I was so tired! It made me realize just how weak of upper body strength I really have, and I'd like to have a strong body in all areas. So far I've done the dvd a few more times and while I still have to take a little break, I have completed the 50 minute workout every time. I hope to stick to it, or maybe get some different ones. Working out on a regular basis has really made me feel a lot better about myself, and I have a ton more energy than I've ever had before!
