Just a warning: This post consists of some of my scattered thoughts from today, this is really how my brain works most of the time, jumping from subject to subject.
Sorry I missed "Currently" yesterday, I spent most of the day packing as we are moving this Friday. I discovered my shoe collection not only fit into one extra large box, but two! I should be ashamed that I have that many shoes, and many jokes were made about it. I still feel like I could use more, you can never have enough shoes (shoe addicts anonymous will soon be knocking on my door). Majority of my room is packed now, minus a few clothes, library materials, and my alarm clocks. You don't realize how many little things you have in your room until you start really going through it
Memorial Day was yesterday, and I'd like to take a moment and thank all of the veterans, those alive and those who have passed, for serving our country. Those who serve in our Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are some of the most brave, honorable men and women in our country and they deserve the utmost praise and respect. I always feel a bit strange saying "Happy Memorial Day", because a day meant to respect our fallen soldiers isn't really all that happy at the core. I guess it could be happy in that we are celebrating their lives and what they fought for and remembering the good, but I'll stop my mini rant there.
I must confess that I have very obsessive organizational tendencies towards my cds, dvds, and books. They must be in alphabetical order or I can't stand it. Today I've brought this crazy habit to a new level, and have began typing up labels for my cds to stick into my cd cases so they can never be put out of order again. My friends only slightly realize this, and whenever they look through my cds/dvds I have a slight panic attack. I don't really have this problem with the books since they're displayed on a shelf and you don't really have to shuffle them around to see them.
I think that's enough randomness for the day. I have some good news to share but I think it may be a bit early to do so, but I will fill you gals in soon enough. Tonight I'm headed over to one of my old Girl Scout leader's house to knit with her and an old friend, I'm excited to catch up with them, I haven't seen either of them in years.
Hope you have a Happy Tuesday!
