I actually made these little treats back in the beginning of June when we first moved as a "Welcome to the New House" treat, but I never shared. I got the recipe from the Pillsbury website, and now I can't find the exact one, but here is one that's really similar.
All you need is crescent rolls, apples, cinnamon, sugar, and caramel. What I did was I broke apart the crescent rolls, sprinkled the cinnamon and sugar onto on side, laid a slice of apple on it, and rolled it up. Before baking I also put a little cinnamon on the outside just to make it look pretty.
When they come out of the oven, you drizzle the caramel on and they're done! I wanted to make it even more simple so instead of melting caramel squares I found ready made microwaveable caramel apple caramel, warmed that up, and popped that on top. I even had some caramel left over to I made everyone caramel apples.
After looking all over the Pillsbury website I've found a bunch of recipes I want to try now. I haven't been baking lately because turning on the oven during the heat wave we've had for the past few weeks just sounds like a bad idea, but I can't wait for it to cool down so I can try some of these out.
