Describe a distinct moment when your life took a turn.

*I feel like the past few prompts have been a bit serious so I'm going to lighten up a bit*

I was around age 12 when my mom first had us sit down and I watched the first opening scene and heard the sweet Hawaiian inspired tunes from the movie Blue Hawaii. This is when I fell in love with the king, Elvis Presley. My life has never been the same. His hip shakin', girls cryin' makin moves intrigued me, and I was hooked. From that movie, I branched out into his music and other movies. I also was inspired to watch other old beach movies, and from there that grew into watching all sorts of movies from the 1930s-1960s. My life has never been the same, and I will always be inspired by Elvis' music and style. No matter what kind of day it's been, listening to Elvis or watching one of his movies can bring a smile to my face. I'm also super excited because my mom just announced that we are going to visit Graceland next summer! I have wanted to go for so long and I can't wait to actually be there!

  3. Love this! My dad is one of Elvis's biggest fans (I'm not exaggerating) and I grew up only listening to Elvis. His music changed my life and his movies hold such a dear place in my heart!
