Hello hello, so I took a pretty impromptu Christmas week break and I apologize but I was just sooo busy all week, blogging was not high on my list of things to do, and I'm sorry for that. I didn't even read too many blogs, I just (almost) completely left the blogosphere for a few days, but I'm back!

Christmas was very busy in my house. My mom and I made four different types of cookies: Peppermint Patty brownies, Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Toffee bars, and Hershey Kiss Surprise cookies! I have eaten so many sweets in the past few days I think I've been in a chocolate coma.

On Christmas my family went over to my grandparent's house for Christmas dinner which is always fun and tons of food.My mom and grandma have a running Christmas decoration competition where they try to one -up each other every year. This year my grandma definitely won some points, she had some really cute Christmas curtains and had a really pretty china set. However, we are not defeated and already have a few plans up our sleeves for next year when Christmas is at our house! **insert evil laugh here**

**Sidenote** My mom and I went to see the Titanic Exhibit that came through town, it was so amazing! They had a lot of artifacts from the ship and gave us boarding passes when we went in so we could see if we lived or died. I lived, but my poor mom and her husband both died. We weren't allowed to take photos, but I did get this really cute teacup Titanic pin!**

I still can't believe that the New Year is just two days away now! That's just so crazy! I'm debating if I want to actually make New Year's Resolutions. I always feel as if I'm making them to break them. I think the only one I really have is to read more, especially now that I was given a Half Price Books gift card for Christmas and bought a LOT more books to add to the to-read pile!

Do you make New Year's Resolutions? If so, what is your resolution this year? See you in the New Year!

  1. i'm lovin those pants! you rock them so well.

  2. I took quite the break from blogging this Christmas as well. I think that's important to recharge and start full force in the new year! I can't get enough of those jeans, they are just so perfectly vintage and wonderful! I don't really have a resolution, except maybe to get more organized but that is a running goal for me, haha.

I really love and appreciate when you share your thoughts, leave me a comment below!
