Happy Friday! This week flew by and I'm so happy it's the weekend! So I have realized that I now wear red entirely to much, it's like I'm drawn to it. This is my third red outfit in a row, I guess I missed the wear the majority of your red clothing last week memo, oh well.
I've also been knitting with red as well. I'm actually working on two red sweaters; an oversize simple sweater made with homespun so it's super soft, and my first top down sweater which is so pretty and retro that I found on Ravelry by this lovely lady named Andi Satterland and it's called Chuck. If you like to knit check out her patterns.
I made soup for the first time in a while this week, it was a Spicy Chicken Soup recipe that I found on Pinterest of course! It was super easy and the longest time I had to wait was for the chicken to boil. I miss making fun recipes from Pinterest so my goal is to make them more often.
Oh I don't think I told you all about Brite Winter Festival! It's an indoor/outdoor festival held in Cleveland and this year there were 70+ bands (usually local or fairly close to Cleveland). The festival is meant to celebrate winter and break all of us Clevelanders out of our winter depression for a night. We only saw one band outside thank goodness because it was freezing, but it was a lot of fun and I got to see some new music. I think music festivals are the best way to find your new favorite artist because live music is just so amazing.
How was your week? Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend?
